Meet the Founder
Hello, I'm Lennard Meijer, a passionate drummer and developer from the Netherlands. My drumming journey began when I was just 10 years old, starting on a digital drum kit before upgrading to my first acoustic kit, a Pearl Export in classic black at 12 years of age.
My vision for Playdrumsonline was born in 2002 when I was 19. After purchasing a Roland digital drum kit, I began experimenting with connecting it to my computer, exploring ways to control games using my drum kit. This experimentation sparked an idea that would eventually become Playdrumsonline.
The Journey Behind Playdrumsonline
In 2013, I launched the first version of Playdrumsonline as a simple online rhythm game. What started as a passion project has evolved significantly over the past decade, growing into a comprehensive platform for drummers worldwide.
Today, Playdrumsonline has transformed from its humble beginnings into a rich drumming resource with multiple features for drummers of all skill levels. The platform now serves a thriving community of drummers who play along with songs and improve their skills daily.
